The stamp set is an older stamp set from Gina K. This is one of my favorite stamp sets from her. I colored my images with Copics from my store. Sorry my picture is low quality but most of you already know my 6 year old son broke my nice camera, so now I am borrowing my 10 year old DD camera until I can find a good replacement. This was a really fun card to make and color!

This delightful card was created by Ceal. She used a Clementine from the kitchen. She rolled it in ink and then on her paper to create the background.

This neat background was created by Cyndi. This is recycled ink. I was cleaning some paint pen off a plastic blackboard with kitchen cleaner and realized that it made color swirls. So instead of wiping it off with a rag, I laid a piece of paper on top of it and made this print!

This card was created by me, Julie. I used Versa Mark to stamp my background stamp (BoBunny, Ornamental Stamp) and heat embossed it with Ranger Black embossing powder.

This fun background was created by Jessie. She used a doily and dabbed a colorbox stamp pad over it to make the background.

This adorable card was created by Lorie. She used a sweet stamp set that is in my store but may not be online (oops) I love how she used this stamp for her background as well as her main image! Great job.

This weeks Recipe Card Challenge is for Chocolate Lovers. The Chocolate Lover's Challenge is all about inspiring delicious chocolate recipe cards. We would love for you to share your chocolate with us so play along!

This chocolate inspired card was created by Jessie. It's a lovely chocolate pudding with a fudgy sauce underneath!!! I used some pink and chocolate coloured paper that I have had in my stash for a few years, some papermania buttons, Stampendous apron stamp from my dear friend Chris and I finished it off with a chocolate bow.

This chocolate inspired card was created by Ceal. Now who is not a chocolate lover? For my card I chose a favorite of mine Hershey Bar Cake. It is so yummy! I used Basic Grey Nook & Pantry you can find in Julie's store Scrapbook At Your Door and a digi stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps, Birthday Cake Cocoa.

This chocolate inspired card was created by me, Julie. I used a House Mouse stamp and a recipe featuring spiked hot chocolate. I used Copics of course to color this image and the Spica at you pen to add sparkle to the hot cocoa tin. The embellishments are also from my store so go shopping!

This card was created by me, Julie. I used a NEW stamp from our store that I just LOVE! I used Nook and Pantry 6x6 paper from Basic Grey. This paper is a must have for anyone interested in recipe cards. I colored my little Changito Coffee stamp with Copics and highlighted his cute bunny slippers with stickles. I added a little touch of Liquid Pearls to the coffee cups to mimic whipped cream. I was thinking in place of a traditional get well card, a card like the one I created would be a nice treat for a sick friend. This hot drink is perfect for a cold!

This Word book was created by Tiffany a Design Team member and close friend. She designed this gorgeous BoBunny word book for our store Gallery. The paper is also from a kit from our store. I think it is perfect for any family themed use, but we were thinking how special this type of book would be as a family recipe book! We all have favorite family recipes, and what a perfect place to keep them. Eating at home saves money and by being frugal with at home meals we can all save money this year.
This budget friendly gift set was created by Cyndi. Bath salts are expensive to buy at spas, but inexpensive to make yourself. Create a pretty tag and you have the perfect gift for a friend.

Our Holiday challenge is to create a recipe card using Christmas around the world as a theme or a favorite holiday tradition found at home. Happy Holidays!!!!!

I have had strep throat as well as my four children this holiday, so Lorie has been so kind as to create the recipe cards for you. Her first card features an around the world card using a traditional recipe from Sweden. We can learn a lot by branching out our taste buds across the world! What fun to do a little traveling during the holidays.

This card features a favorite traditional recipe perfect for any holiday gathering. I think I will make this for my New Year's celebration! We should all leave some love for Lorie for filling in during the holidays for our recipe challenges!!!!! Thank you Lorie.

1. Six months of Collecting to make Copics affordable!

2. Four amazing options to fit YOUR needs, just pick one:

~Sketch Stamping Set A 36 marker set, $40 monthly

the fourth option is best suited for those of you have random Copic markers and would

still like to belong to a Copic Club outside the sets. Send us your existing collection list and we will add 36 new Copics to your collection over a six month period. Here is the totally customized part, let us know what color families you really love and what stamps you love to color. This is a truly customized option that is unique to our store.

3. Shipments of six markers will be sent to you monthly for six months.

4. Memberships are for six months and at the end of the six months you will receive a plastic or cloth case to fit your markers. You are also welcome to rejoin the Club after your six months of collecting with us is complete.

Progressive Dinner Week!

This week's challenge is to create a recipe that would work well at a progressive dinner. If you have never attended a progressive dinner, you travel from house to house eating each course of a meal. You may start at a house for appetizers, drinks, another for salad, main course and end at a house for dessert. It is a lot of fun and no one is responsible for the entire meal! I hope this challenge not only inspires you to set up a progressive dinner among your friends, but create a card inspired by this party concept. Enjoy!

This yummy card was created by Lorie. The paper goes perfectly with her recipe don't you think. The die cuts were created using a Cricut. I love how she used the metal embellishment with ribbon! Lorie is so creative.

This card was created by me, Julie. I also used my Cricut (stretch your imagination cartridge) for my turkey. This turkey is holding a purse that reads Eat Beef! I used a small circle punch to punch out turkeys from the reverse side of this paper. This paper is my absolute favorite Thanksgiving paper, because it so humorous. We all need encouragement in watching our diets during the holiday's, so our design team wanted to share a few yummy alternatives to the high calorie foods that will be soon surrounding us. I think Ceal created the perfect Thanksgiving themed card here. I love how she has a tag to pull out for directions.
This card was created by me, Julie. I wanted to share what I eat most mornings before heading out to the gym. I decided that this week I would hand write my recipe. We all enjoy recipe cards form our mother's, grandmother's and aunts, because they are handwritten. I LOVE the look of typed cards but I also want to include a few handwritten ones for my daughters to enjoy. I cut the egg out free handed style. I used metal embellishments that reminded me of cookware. The Yum Yum tag is from an old SU set I got from a friend. The paper can be found at my store.

This seriously spooky card was made by me, Julie. I used the new Eerie 6x6 paper from Basic Grey. I used my jagged edge scissors around the vellum. I used the acrylic smash technique to adhere it to the paper. The paint I used is a dark gold and it matches this paper beautifully. The bling is Glitz frosting. It's A Monster Bash Recipe Card Challenge!

This weeks Recipe Card Challenge is Autumn/Halloween Monster Bash. We are creating cards perfect for Fall gatherings with friends and family. Our design team has been hard at work creating a yummy variety of recipe cards to fill your monster appetite this week. Enjoy!

This scary card was created by Lorie. These little meringue treats, are easy to make, and fun to eat for all of your little ghosts and goblins. This fabulous double sided paper came to me from Julie at Scrapbook Store at Your Door, and I just love everything about it. From the distressed look, to all the flourish vines connecting the pumpkins. It was a perfect match for my From the Crypt stamp set from Stampin' Up!. Be sure to check out all the fabulous new kitchen themed items Julie is carrying, just for your recipe scrapping needs. I popped up the little bats on paper springs to make it look like they are flying, added some ink to the edges of the image and recipe, and ABRACADABRA! A fast and easy recipe guaranteed to scare your tastebuds into begging for more!!

This scary card was created by me, Julie. I used the new eerie 6x6 paper from Basic Grey. I heat embossed the edges of the center piece with black embossing powder from Ranger. I also stamped the word Halloween in Versa Mark and heat embossed the Black powder. It gives a neat black glossy look to the card. The Bling is from Glitz Designs. The recipe is yummy too and perfect for a Bash! If someone has peanut allergies I would recommend using a sweetened cream cheese layer or icing if you want to be real sweet (: Candies such as gunny worms, candy corn, Halloween M&M's would be perfect for the candy topping.

This is a close up of the fun Lollipop type flower I made for this card. I used one of the black pattern paper's from the eerie Basic Grey pack and tore layers smallest to largest in the shape of a circle. I used Versa mark around the edges and heat embossed them with black embossing powder. I wish my photography skills were a little better, because this flower looks so neat! You can try this technique with any pattern paper, but I recommend the Basic Grey 6x6 packs.

This yummy recipe card is from Ceal. These Pumpkin cheesecake bars are always a hit. I didn't have any "monster" stamps so I went with a fall party recipe. The paper I used is some I had in my stash and the stamp is a Magnolia stamp. The pumpkin trim I found at Michaels. The other supplies you can find at Scrapbook Store At Your Door. Julie is carrying a whole new line of kitchen themed papers and embellishments for all your recipe card needs. She also carries Copic markers at a reasonable price so you will want to check out her online store for these goodies and more.
This beautiful card was created by Lauri. Well, in my part of the world we skipped fall and went right to Winter! Snow, ice, cold...blech! Afer an insanely busy weekend, I put together a very quick and simple recipe card for this weeks Monster/Autumn Bash recipe theme. Fondue is always fun! and here is a recipe for Cheddar and Hard Cider fondue! So while your kids are out trick/treating, keep the adults happy too with a warm snack!

I used some distressed paper from Julie's Scrapbook Store at your Door, along with some very pretty fall diecut flowers and pearl accents, also from her store. My recipe book is getting very full!!

All Around The World!

This weeks challenge is to create a recipe card celebrating our heritage or favorite culture. Our Design Team has been busy at work creating yummy recipe cards from a variety of cultures. Enjoy!

This adorable recipe card was created by Ceal. I received this cute paper from Julie at Scrapbook Store At Your Door, and knew right away I wanted to do an Italian recipe because of the cute little Italian chefs. The two chefs were originally at the bottom corner of the page but I cut them out and placed them where I needed them so I would not cover them up with my recipe.

This week we are celebrating our heritage and what better day (for me!) than Columbus Day to celebrate with one of my favorite Italian dishes, Chicken Florentine. I love spinach! Julie has added all sorts of new food-themed items to her store, under their own category so if you are looking for some food themed scrapbook items you will find lots of inspiration. One of the papers in her store is this really pretty green paper with spices and it reminded me so much of spinach! I paired the paper with the pretty red and green flowers, brads and pearls.

This beautiful recipe card was created by Lorie. In talking to my grandpa, he tells me that way back our family is from Irish decendants, so that's what I'm celebrating today. The Irish flag consists of three equal size rectangles of green, white, and orange, and while my recipe page is 6x6 square, you get the drift. I wanted to keep this one fairly simple, but with my love for bling, of course I had to find a place for some. I used this really neat scroll template I found at my local craft store to trace the swirls, and I handstitched those with orange embroidery floss. Julie sent me some beautiful goodies to play with, like those pretty pearls, and primas from her online store Scrapbook Store At Your Door . Julie is carrying a whole new line of kitchen themed papers and embellishments for all your recipe card needs. Please be sure to check out all the amazing pretties she is offering. This yummy recipe was created by Lorie. The recipe I'm sharing with you is one I've had and used for years. I've never had it fail me (unless the yeast is bad), and they are so easy and Mmmm, mmmm good! I will tell you that if you have a stand up mixer that does kneading, then that will make them so much easier. I just mix all my dry ingredients into the bowl, and start the mixing process, then add my wet ingredients. So, so easy peasy!!

I used some of the new DP that Julie is stocking in her store, Scrapbook Store At Your Door. She sent me some of the most gorgeous papers last week, and I can't wait to show them off to you. Of course if you can't wait, you can always go directly to her store and check them out for yourself. This retro styled recipe card was created by Lauri. Here is a great recipe for a crowd! This is a french toast dish you can make the night before and then just pop in the oven! How great when the holidays are here and you want to have a wonderful brunch for a holiday morning!

This yummy card was created by Lorie. Good morning! Here's a little somethin', somethin' to warm you up as the days start to get shorter and cooler. A yummy pumpkin pie latte! Mmmmmmm! This is a homemade version of the ever popular treats found in so many of our favorite coffee shops. I like it, not only because it's delicious, but because it can be made with things you have have readily available in your kitchen, and you don't need a fancy coffee machine to get all the yummy goodness you crave. This page was made with the gorgeous Ambrosia DP from Basic Grey, and the coffee cups were paper pieced from a pad of Cupcake DP, also from Basic Grey. Both can be found at the Scrapbook Store At Your Door. Enjoy!!!
This card was created by me, Julie. Sometimes I am so tired I just want a coffee drink. I love this stamp, Attack of the Caffeine Crash a Gruffies stamp, because this is so me at my desk in the morning (: I used a piece of June Bug 6x6 paper and Christmas Primas embellished with sticky back pearls.

Hang In There! Coffee Shake

1 cup strong coffee, cooled

1/2 cup half n half or milk

1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

7 scoops coffee ice cream

In blender place all ingredients, blend and top with a

few chocolate espresso beans. Serve immediately.

This tasty recipe card was created by Ceal. I am not much of a breakfast person. I love to have breakfast foods such as pancakes at night more than of a morning. I had to think of a recipe that ones like me who do not do breakfast could use. With fall here and the crisp mornings I decided to share this latte recipe. I am not a coffee drinker either but I love lattes when its cold out.

This yummy card was made by Lauri. Nutella Pond Cake! What a great accompaniment to a good cup of coffee and friends! Using Basic Grey Marrakesh paper and Crafty Secrets stamps, Lauri created a pocket card holding this scrumptious recipe...pound cake with Nutella swirled in layers!
This festive card was created by me, Julie. I used Cupcake paper from Basic Grey. I used an old balloon punch and layered them to create a chipboard look. Red string was used for the balloons. I used Copic at you Spica pen in clear to add a festive sparkle to the balloons and cupcakes. Scrapbook Store at Your Door now sells Copic products!!! We will be adding a ton of new products in the next few days and weeks. Back to the recipe card (: The stamp is an old SU! stamp that I still love. I used the scallop circle die from Spellbinders, Copics for my coloring and the recipe came from the Food Network. I had a LOT of fun with this challenge and we hope you do too!

This weeks challenge is to create a Sack Lunch Recipe card. Something that you would want to pack and take to work, school or to the park.

The above recipe card was created by me, Julie. I used a paper bag, Space Boy paper and a recipe off the food network website. Wraps are a great alternative to the traditional sandwich. This card involved no stamping, but I think the neat paper made up for that.

This is an inside view of my card. I thought it would be fun to place a recipe for a side item or drink on the rocket paper. A recipe could also be placed in the opening of the sack for a neat little recipe slot (: I love using paper bags for cards, they add an unexpected twist.

This popcorn is such a sweet treat, and is a great little surprise for the kid's lunch boxes. Especially around this time of year, and or the holidays. I love this take on traditional caramel corn. The card stock, ribbon, and Basic Grey paper all came from Scrapbook Store at Your Door.

Bento Boxes are a growing trend in a few ways. Basically, they are a great way to pack your lunch! Originating in japan in those cute little containers, they have become an art form for many. .
I decided to do my 6x6 card on the basics of packing a bento box. So maybe not really recipes as much as instructions...In keeping the oriental theme, I decided to created an origami frame and insert a fold out instruction book. Go to lauri's blog for more information, including pictures of the fold out and instructions on how to make your own bento box and wrap it up with fabric!

Elegant Dinner Party!

Today's Challenge is to create a recipe and recipe card for an elegant dinner party.

This elegant card was created by Lorie. Lorie used Porcelain Basic Grey 6x6 paper. The brads are from the 350 piece embellishment set from our store.

This elegant card was created by Lauri. Lauri created this card using Glitz Hot Mama paper. The black rhinestones are Glitz Designs. This card opens to reveal the recipe. Very neat idea!

This card was created by me, Julie. I used Porcelain Basic Grey paper with the recipe printed on vellum. I used the Ornamental Stamp & Store stamp set from BoBunny. I outlined the flourishes with Diamond Stickles. The Bling is Glitz Frosting. I love using Vellum for my recipes, because you can see the stamped images underneath.

This yummy dessert was created by Ceal. She is new to our DT and we are so excited to have her! Every dinner party must include dessert so give this one a try.

Character Card Challenge!

This weeks challenge is Character Cards. This is an easy but fun challenge for most of us, because we all have character stamps that we love to use. Show off your Character and have some fun!!!!

The adorable card above was created by the talented Lauri . I love how this card opens!
I went with one of my favorite House Mouse images, Mud Pie! I stamped this with Memento Brilliance on watercolor paper and used SU! watercolor pencils and aqua painters. I also covered the measuring cup in crystal effects to make it look more like clear glass.
I used this recipe for Mini Mud pies; the thing about anything mini is I tend to make up for the mini part by eating way too many! This card was created by me, Julie. This is a salad that you will want to try! I used the Twinkle Toes House Mouse image, because you will want to dance after eating this salad (: I printed the recipe on vellum and cut out the recipe and the image using Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals. I added a few pink Primas with pearl centers for fun. Her skirt and nose are embellished with Diamond Stickles. All supplies can be found at Scrapbook Store at Your Door.

Flower Power Challenge!

This weeks challenge is Flower Power. Create a recipe card using as many flowers as possible.

The card above was created by me (: I used Wisteria paper, Valentines Prima flowers with tiny pearls in the center. I adhere the pearls using Liquid Pearls White Opal. The scalloped circle was made using a Spellbinders die. All the supplies used on this card can be found at our favorite store, Scrapbook Store at Your Door.
This cheerful card was created by Kathleen. I love how she tucked two recipes that go well together on one recipe card! Perfect for when you use two recipes for the same meal over and over. Beautiful! This pocket card was created by Lori. She used the adorable paper line Alex. The stitching on this card was done by hand, very impressive! The pumpkin was made with a cricut and will be available in our new Halloween kit coming soon.

This beautiful card was made by Lauri. The background paper is a mixture of pieces I cut from Sublime Wacky Strip from Glitz Designs; paper you can find at Scrap Store at your Door! I simply added some Prima Flowers and a rhinestone in the corner. Very simple!

The Great Camp Out Challenge!

This weeks challenge is The Great Camp-Out. Create a recipe card themed after the great outdoors and the adventures of camping out.

I don't know about you, but my idea of camping involves a comfy hotel bed, hot showers and a TV! But that doesn't mean I don't like camping food! For today's Recipe Challenge, we are sharing camping recipes! and who does not like SMORES! Here is a recipe I use for baked smores, so you can have a camp-out right at home! This recipe card came together very quickly! I used Mommy and Me paper from Scrapbook Store at your Door, and just cut out the little bear and leaves from a section of the paper. I tied a little twine as well to mount the little pictures on. Very quick! and I like quick!This recipe card was created by Julie. This fun recipe card was created in honor of Bears. I live in a part of the U.S. where Bears are at the zoo and not in my woods. We love to camp in our pop up camper, but we are yet to visit a location that has bears in the wild. My Uncle tells me about living in Minnesota and having Bears come up on his deck, because he was baking cookies!!!!! I know if I were to bake these cookies in my camper oven the bears would come for dessert. Pecan Crispies are an old German cookie recipe that has been in my family farther back than anyone can remember. Have fun baking and watch out for those Bears!!!!!!!!!!

The bear and chipmunk image, textured cardstock, and tree die cut can all be found at Scrapbook Store At Your Door. I added the fire, that I'd cut from some K&Co. DP, and the beans on a stick, which are from the Stampin' Up! Under the Stars stamp set. I just took my trusty little paper snips and fine cut the edges of the card stock for the grass, and I added some texture to the tree with my markers and a gel pen, my trusty Martha Stewart leaf punch provided me with some beautiful colored leaves for the tree, and that pretty much completed this camp out scene.

I hope you have found some inspiration here today. There's not much time left before school starts, so camping days will be numbered. Even if you don't have time to fit in the camping, do try those yummy beans. You won't be sorry!!!

The Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad that I had on hand worked perfectly with the chocolate chip card stock. You can find a variety of other Basic Grey 6x6 paper pads at the Scrapbook Store At Your Door, along with coordinating buttons and glazed brads. Beeeeaaaaauuuuutiful!!!!! I chose to distress the edges of the papers with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo(also available at the Scrapbook Store At Your Door). If you haven't tried this ink, you SHOULD!! It is a must have for anyone who loves that shabby/primitave look.

Not Just a Pretty 6x6 Sheet of Paper!

This weeks challenge is to create a recipe card using multiple layers of paper and embellishments. A recipe card should be as beautiful as a regular card! Get layering!

The card above is a Disney theme recipe card I made for a Disney Christmas Cookie swap I am in on SCS. I bought this Cinderella stamp a few years ago after visiting Disney with my family. The cookie recipe is a family tradition and the BEST sugar cookie we have ever tried. I used two layers of quality card-stock, a strip of tacky tape with glitter, Diamond Stickles around the oval scallop. With only three ingredients this recipe will surprise you!
This card was created by Kathleen. I love how even though she had a large recipe to work with she added a DP and scalloped edge to the card. The focal-point is her adorable chicken!!!! So many animals and foods can be created with SU punches and other die cut machines.
This card was created by Lauri. She incorporates many layers and popped up images into her card.

For the past year, I have wanted to put create a recipe collection of my and my mother's recipes for my daughter and this is just what I needed to get started!! I started with the recipe I use most often at home...a very simple tomato sauce that my grandmother passed on to my mother. Julie's store is my source for most of my non-SU! paper, which is primarily Basic Grey. I used Basic Grey Marrakesh for this layout. The layout is from Triple the Sketch (65)! It is really a scrapbook layout that I modified!! I also decided to use some Crafty Secrets stamps sets. I am so excited about this challenge blog....it will get me to put my recipes together and I will get all sorts of new ones from others participating!

BLT Dip

1 16oz. jar sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp sugar

1 large tomato, diced

1 pound of bacon, fried and crumbled

Mix all ingredients

and refrigerate overnight!
